Professor Sharon Bentley is Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health and Director of the Centre for Vision and Eye Research, Queensland University of Technology. She has strong, longstanding clinical and research interests in public health optometry and low vision. She is current Chair of the Optometry Australia Evolving Scope of Practice Advisory Group. Professor Bentley is a Churchill Fellow, a Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry Low Vision Section and an Honorary Life Member of the Australian College of Optometry.
